Shandong Qingdao Sinochem New Materials Science City Promoted

Based on the professional advantage of Qingdao University of Science and Technology in new materials and the TOD project of Yanjiashan Triple-line Interchange Station, with international sci-tech services and urban services as orientation, the proposed renovation project of Shandong Qingdao Sinochem New Materials Science City, on both sides of Zhengzhou Road, Shibei District, Qingdao, will focus on developing six new materials sectors (rubber-plastic materials, green chemical, advanced new materials, high-temperature alloy, intelligent equipment, new marine materials), building "two platforms and one center" (National University-Enterprise Research Demonstration Platform, New Materials Small Test Platform, New Materials Pilot Test Platform, Sinochem RCEP Trade Center), create a "2+6+3" new materials industry innovation ecosystem with prominent advantages, and form an industrial development demonstration zone in the waterfront innovation belt. The science city will synchronize construction with investment promotion at the next stage, and first bring in a number of projects including Qingdao Jinmao at the end of this year.
