China, Shandong and Binzhou lead the aluminium industry of the world, China and Shandong respectively. As China's largest aluminum producing province, Shandong boasts a large industrial scale and an integral industry chain in terms of aluminum.

A favorable industrial ecosystem is the fertile soil for industrial agglomeration and innovation, as well as the key to shaping regional core competitiveness. With a focus on the transformation of Shandong's high-end aluminum industry, Binzhou has released the Implementation Program for Building a Community of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Integrating Government, Industry, Academia, Research, Finance, Service and Application, emphasizing efforts to build a community of innovation and entrepreneurship for Shandong's high-end aluminum manufacturing and application innovation, to fully arouse the innovation, entrepreneurship and creation vitality of universities and colleges, research institutes, enterprises, financial institutions and service agencies inside and outside Shandong, accelerate the creation of a sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem for the aluminum industry, and speed up efforts to promote the disruptive transformation and high-quality development of aluminum industry clusters.
