Qingdao has set the goal of "increasing the added value of cultural industries to over 100 billion yuan for the coming five years", calling for efforts to "foster and expand cultural industries with emphasis on film & television, 5G HD video, music & performing arts and creative design; implement the cultural digitalization strategy through vigorously developing new cultural business and new cultural consumption models; strive to be a demonstration zone for the integrated development of culture and tourism in China through promoting the integrated development of culture and tourism, and developing the "tourism +" model and "tourism +" products; and build an international fashion culture center through strengthening and expanding fashion industries like cultural creation, digital media and costume. All these will lay a solid foundation for the high-quality and leapfrog development of Qingdao's cultural industries.
