Shandong will Focus on 42 Key Industrial Chains to Implement the Standardization of the Strengthening Chain Project

The Information Office of the Shandong Provincial People's Government recently interpreted the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Innovative Development Standardization of the National Standardization Development Outline". It clarified that the new period of Shandong will focus on the implementation of a higher level of standardization development strategy. On top of fully completing the three-year national standardization comprehensive reform pilot, Shandong will take the lead in launching a new round of three-year national standardization innovation and development pilot, and strive to build a national standardization innovation and development highland.

Shandong Province's implementation opinions proposed to focus on 42 key industrial chains for implementing the standardization of the strengthening chain project, cultivating and developing joint enterprise standards to help connect the industrial chain and supply chain with standardization.

As a key link in the process of upgrading the industrial base and modernizing the industrial chain, standardization can establish the "best order" and provide a "common language" for industrial chain collaboration, which can effectively enhance the stability and competitiveness of the industrial chain and supply chain. According to the plan of "Implementation Opinions", Shandong will focus on 3 aspects for the next stage of development: system construction, project construction and platform construction.
