Shandong Launches 30 "Policy Packages" to Promote the Recovery of the Cultural Tourism Industry

Since this year, in order to vigorously provide assistance and relief to enterprises, accelerate the recovery of the service industry, boost productivity and efficiency, and maintain economic stability, Shandong has launched a total of 30 "Policy Packages" in four categories, including industry promotion, fiscal incentives, tax and fee reduction, and financial support, to promote the recovery of the cultural tourism industry.

Regarding fiscal incentives, Shandong will give a basic award of 2 million yuan and an incentive award of up to 20 million yuan to the top 10 enterprises with outstanding economic growth, strong ability to create new jobs, and green and sustainable development in the exquisite tourism and cultural and creative industries. Shandong Provincial Department of Finance has arranged 100 million yuan to build "Shandong with Quality Products" and "Hospitable Shandong", improve tourist facilities and promote tourism consumption. For cities that have successfully created national tourism demonstration zones, national culture and tourism consumption pilot (demonstration) cities, and national night culture and tourism consumption clusters, they will receive a one-time incentive grant of 3 million yuan from Shandong Provincial Department of Finance to improve the culture and tourism consumption.

In terms of tax and fee reduction, Shandong will introduce and implement a series of preferential policies in the cultural tourism industry, such as fee reduction policies for value-added tax, property tax, urban land use tax, housing rent, social insurance and other taxes and fees closely related to cultural tourism enterprises. Shandong will also implement polices to promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises through government procurement, which are applicable to procurement services provided specifically by small and medium-sized enterprises.
