The winter economy is riding on the momentum of the Winter Olympics. At the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 (Beijing 2022), innovations of over 40 high-tech enterprises in Shandong were applied in key scenarios such as winter equipment, venue, operation, security, medicare, transportation and broadcast.

A sport drives an industry and the winter industry props winter sports. In terms of winter sports equipment manufacturing, a winter industry agglomeration area and chain are forming in Shandong. There are currently over 100 winter sports equipment manufacturers in Shandong. A Weihai-centered winter sports equipment manufacturing agglomeration area, a Jining-centered winter sports wear agglomeration area and a Dezhou-centered winter sports simulation manufacturing agglomeration area have taken initial shape, with a number of leading enterprises emerging in industrial segments. The application of Shandong's innovative technologies at Beijing 2022 demonstrates Shandong's strength and confidence in manufacturing. These technologies not only show the technological prowess of Shandong, but also will boost the high-quality development of Shandong after being applied in more fields.

The Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 have left the future with valuable wealth while presenting breathtaking competitions.
