Shandong Launches Campaign of "New, Specialized, Sophisticated and Distinctive" Enterprises to Integrate and Consolidate Industrial Chains

According to the latest news released by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, Shandong will launch the campaign of integrating and consolidating industrial chains represented by the new generation of information technology, high-end equipment, high-end chemical industry, advanced materials, medicine and others. To be more specific, it will hold about 10 matchmaking events with the aim of boosting to match main enterprises across the chains with more than 200 new, specialized, sophisticated and distinctive enterprises, as well as drive cities to conduct about 50 special events to solve a batch of technical "bottlenecks" and "obstacles from the intermediate levels" in local administrative departments, which directly hinder the cooperation.

The campaign of industrial chains integration and consolidation aims to select "partners" around the key industrial chains where new, specialized, sophisticated and distinctive enterprises gather and give full play to their role as the main force of strengthening and complementing the chains. Relying on demonstration platforms such as the Provincial Enterprise Confederation, the Provincial Gazelle Enterprise Development Promotion Association, and the Provincial Public Service Center for Inclusive Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province will hold a special match-making and exchange event for new, specialized, sophisticated and distinctive enterprises across the industrial chains. Meanwhile, the industry and information departments of each city will organize no less than 3 such events according to local industrial features and the development of enterprises, and track the results after the event in a timely manner.
