Foreign Investment Actually Used by Shandong in Jan. Up 40%+ YoY

In January, 121 foreign-invested enterprises were established in Shandong Province, with a total foreign investment of 1.66 billion U.S. dollars in actual use, up 42.9% year on year and up 75.4% from the same period of 2020 (up 32.4% on average).

Among the industries from which Shandong absorbed foreign investment in January, manufacturing saw the strongest growth with a foreign investment of 670 million U.S dollars in actual use, up 335.2% year on year, accounting for 40.7% of Shandong's total. Investment from the main foreign investment sources picked up quickly. Actual investment from Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Germany and the U.S. grew rapidly.
