Shandong-made Wax Truck Serves 300 Pairs of Snowboards Daily

With the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games (Beijing 2022) in full swing, China's first wax truck made by Shandong was in full gear. Since its entry into the National Cross-Country Skiing Centre in Chongli on January 12, the truck has operated at full capacity without power off or interruption for 24 hours, serving 200 to 300 pairs of snowboards daily. The truck at its best has been providing reliable support to the Chinese national skiing team. "For now, we have achieved the goal of independently developing a fully homemade and world leading wax truck," said An Zetao. Following the Games, the truck will serve the China International Consumer Products Expo, the China Sport Show and other exhibitions. Based on the successful experience in R&D, the truck will be modified for other sports purposes through replacement of modular equipment.
