Shandong’s Top 300 Enterprises 2021 List, 131 Enterprises Report Revenues of More Than 10 Billion Yuan Each

Shandong Business Daily has recently released the list of Shandong's Top 300 Enterprises 2021. The top 300 achieved total revenues of 7.38 trillion yuan and 131 out of them reported revenues of more than 10 billion yuan each. Shandong Energy Group Co., Ltd. headed the list with revenues of 675.239 billion yuan.

According to statistics, the total revenues of the top 300 were up 15.63% year on year and the threshold for listing increased to 1.014 billion yuan from 725 million yuan in 2020.

11 out of the top 300 registered revenues of more than 100 billion yuan in 2021 each compared to 9 in 2020. Shandong Energy remained first, followed by Shandong Heavy Industry Group with 317.647 billion yuan and Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd. with 304.883 billion yuan.

The other eight reporting revenues of more than 100 billion yuan each are Haier Group (302.473 billion yuan), Shandong Weiqiao Venture Co., Ltd. (288.964 billion yuan), Shandong Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (220.733 billion yuan), Xinfa Group Co., Ltd. (211.047 billion yuan), Shandong High-speed Group Co., Ltd. (155.939 billion yuan), Hisense Group Holdings Co., Ltd. (136.314 billion yuan), Nanshan Group Co., Ltd. (113.586 billion yuan) and Shandong Dongming Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (101.668 billion yuan).

32 out of the top 300 reported revenues of more than 50 billion yuan each and a total of 4.35 trillion yuan (more than 50% of the total revenues of the top 300); 131 reported revenues of more than 10 billion yuan each and a total of 6.75 trillion yuan (more than 91.53% of the total revenues of the top 300).

The top 300 are distributed in 16 cities of Shandong, and nearly 50 percent of them are in Jinan, Qingdao and Yantai. Qingdao has 50 enterprises on the list, the most in Shandong.

95 out of (31.66% of) the top 300 are state-owned enterprises reporting total revenues of 3.1 trillion yuan, accounting for 42% of the total revenues of the top 300.
