Shandong allocates 196 million yuan to support young science and technology talent projects

Recently, the provincial finance of Shandong allocates a fund of 196 million yuan, to support 1,700 young science and technology talent projects, the amount and number of support increased by 29% and 12% respectively over the previous year.

The youth project funding support was directly provided to 651 Ph.Ds under the age of 35 from the top 200 universities in the Shanghai Ranking's Academic Ranking of World Universities, and the top 100 universities and scientific research institutes in the natural index, who came to Shandong for the first time to innovate and start their businesses full-time.

Through the funding project, a large number of young Ph.Ds received the initial funding for basic research work, providing strong support for further enhancing innovation capabilities.
