Jinan named smart infrastructure, ICV development pilot city

Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, was selected as one of China's 10 pilot cities to carry out the coordinated development of smart city infrastructure and intelligent connected vehicles.

Jinan has been accelerating the construction of smart network facilities in the past few years. It has built smart connected highways and promoted the development of smart transportation.

The city has built intelligent connected automobile roads, which have the longest test mileage, the most abundant test scenarios, and the most real test environment in China. Construction of intelligent and connected vehicle testing centers has also been underway.

In the future, Jinan will further improve smart infrastructure construction in the city, as well as carry out the pilot application of intelligent and connected vehicles in different scenarios.
