"Select Shandong" Cloud Roadshow for International Economic and Trade Cooperation--Israel Session took place in Jinan on the afternoon of November 16. Through an intelligent investment promotion system, senior executives of Israeli leading enterprises like VocalZoom, CoreTigo, Rayven and Yamar had a virtual dialogue with heads of parks in Shandong like Jinan Mingshui Economic & Technological Development Zone, National Linyi Economic & Technological Development Area, Weifang Economic and Technical Cooperation Center, Penglai Economic Development Zone and Zichuan Economic Development Zone, as well as enterprise representatives,  exploring cooperation in fields such as man-machine communication, machine learning, prediction analysis, industrial automation and semiconductor. As of press time, more than 700,000 people watched the dialogue online.

Building a smooth channel for economic trade and investment

"Select Shandong" Cloud Roadshow will continue to work with other sides to support Shandong's enterprises in improving their internationalization level and promote the sustained and sound development of international investment cooperation." Jin Xiaofeng, Head of the Shandong International Investment Promotion Center, extended warm welcome to the guests, hoping that the senior executives of the Israeli leading enterprises would leverage Shandong's huge market and advanced manufacturing, to introduce new concepts, models, experience, industries and products to Shandong, thereby promoting Shandong-Israel cooperation in various fields, and effectively integrating driver conversion in Shandong with the high-quality economic and social development of Shandong.

Addressing the forum, Ilan Maor, Chairman of the Israel-China and Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce, noted that promotion and exchanges are the first step of all cooperation. Israeli enterprises hope to carry out new cooperation with more Chinese enterprises and institutions in funds, technologies and products, to achieve new win-win in various fields. "I have accumulated a lot of experience in dealing with China over the past years, I'm eager to meet you offline at a right time, may our friendship and cooperation last forever," he said.

"With 20 years of professional experience in international business and trade cooperation, we are working with foreign government institutions, commercial departments, chambers of commerce and enterprises to help them establish contacts with China." Li Huabing, Director of the Foreign Organizations (China) Office Center, said the center has a vast resources network and mainly operates in the sectors of economic trade, science & technology, education and culture, hoping to promote the center and seek more cooperation opportunities through "Select Shandong" Cloud Roadshow.

Liron Urman, General Manager of the Israel-China and Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce, said the chamber of commerce expects to grow and develop with the guests. Virtual dialogue explores new cooperation in various fields

In the virtual dialogue, the senior executives of the four Israeli leading enterprises introduced the history, cultures, product features and technical innovations of respective enterprises. Guo Changbao, Chairman of Shandong Lingbao Electric Co., Ltd. and Song Tao, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Pengxiang Automobile Co., Ltd. under China North Industries Group Corporation exchanged ideas with the Israeli enterprises on a wide range of fields.

Xu Xiaolin, Director of the Investment Promotion Department of Jinan Mingshui National Economic Development Zone; Gu Zhaoping, Senior Executive at the Administrative Committee and Director General of the Investment Promotion Bureau of National Linyi Economic & Technological Development Area; Tan Lei, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Zichuan Economic Development Zone; and Li Shulin, Second Class Counsel at the Weifang Bureau of Commerce introduced the industrial development and investment promotion needs of respective parks by video link.
