Shandong Allocates Subsidies of 8.933 Billion Yuan in First Half of 2021

According to a recent source from the Shandong Provincial Department of Finance, Shandong Province allocated 75 items of subsidies of 8.933 billion yuan to 26.7412 million people via "passbooks" in the first half of 2021.

Minimum living allowances for rural areas totaled 3.256 billion yuan, accounting for 36.45 percent of the total, which benefited 9.5386 million people; allowances for households enjoying guarantees on food, clothing, medical care, housing and funeral expenses totaled 1.219 billion yuan, accounting for 13.65 percent, which benefited 2.765 million people; living allowances for the disabled totaled 835 million yuan, accounting for 9.35 percent of the total, which benefited 7.1306 million people; subsidies for entitled groups totaled 703 million yuan, accounting for 7.87 percent of the total, which benefited 1.2049 million people; allowances for families complying with family planning regulations totaled 409 million yuan, accounting for 4.58 percent of the total, which benefited 792,800 people; subsidies for agricultural machinery purchase totaled 250 million yuan, accounting for 2.80 percent of the total, which benefited 19,800 people.
