The Sweden Session of “Select Shandong” Cloud Roadshow for International Economic and Trade Cooperation, with the theme of Dialogue with Leading Enterprises in the Development of Intelligent Technology, opened at 15:30 (Stockholm Time: 9:30) on October 20, 2020. Representatives from Swedish investment institutions, senior management of business associations, and executives of leading enterprises joined in an online dialogue with heads from Zaozhuang City Bureau of Commerce and Yantai Task Force Office for New Generation IT Industry Development. They discussed the opportunities for cooperation in line with the positioning and actual needs of Shandong Province in new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, real estate and other industrial fields. They all believed that intelligent manufacturing contributes to industrial chain development.

It was learned that this roadshow session was hosted by Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, and organized by International Investment Promotion Agency of Shandong Province and Shandong Internet Media Group. The roadshow session was broadcast live to the world through the “Select Shandong” Cloud Merchants Intelligent System, and was simultaneously broadcast on media platforms such as DZWWW.COM, Poster News app, Baidu, Sina Weibo, and Toutiao. As of this writing, there has been more than 300,000 audiences who viewed it.

During the roadshow session, Jin Xiaofeng, head of Shandong International Investment Promotion Agency, and Joakim Abeleen, General Manager of Swedish Trade & Invest Council Greater China, both attended and delivered speeches. Lin Qihui, Chairman of Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, Sui Zhanjiang, General Manager of Hexagon Manufacturing Division and Vice President of Institute of Precision Measurement and Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, Jesper Jos Olsson, Founding Partner & Group CEO, White Peak, and Zhao Jun, Director of Government Relations & Public Affairs, Ericsson, presented their views. Zhao Jun, Director of Yantai Task Force Office for New Generation IT Industry Development, and Yue Zengbo, Deputy Secretary General of Zaozhuang Municipal Government and Director of Zaozhuang City Bureau of Commerce, engaged in online talks with above mentioned executives from Ericsson and Hexagon respectively. Their topics discussed include in-depth cooperation in information technology and other industrial fields, with an aim to inject more vitality into high-quality development of Shandong Province.
