Construction Project with Annual New Adsorption Materials of 14,000 Tons

Project Industry Foundation (or Project Background):

The current 14,000 tons/year adsorption new materials construction project belongs to the category encouraged in the Guidance Catalogue for Industrial Structure Adjustment (2011 Edition) (2013 revised edition) of the National Development and Reform Commission, and conforms to the national industrial policy.

Introduction:

The project is planned to cover an area of 205.6mu, with a total construction area of 92,700 square meters. 823 sets of equipment including autoclave, filter, furnace, pulverizer, screening machine, packing machine and metering tank will be purchased, with an annual output of 10,000 tons of VOC adsorbent and 4,000 tons of molecular sieve, with an annual operating income of RMB1.3 billion, profits of RMB500 million and profits and taxes of RMB200million.

Market Potential (or Benefit Analysis):

Volatile organic gases (VOC gases) emissions, involving more than 80% of the industrial production process, such as spraying, printing and dyeing, chemicals, medicine, machinery, food, coal, electricity, automobiles and other industries. With the implementation of the new environmental protection law, the national requirements for volatile organic gases (VOC gases) emissions are becoming more and more stringent. Because the environment involved in VOC gas emission is generally in the workshop or relatively closed space, the humidity of the gas is generally air humidity, the water content is relatively large, the water content of the general gas is dozens to thousands of times the VOC gas content. If VOC gas with low concentration is not discharged into the atmosphere, it can only be adsorbed. However, at present, non-hydrophobic adsorption materials (such as activated carbon adsorbent) are widely used in industry, and a large amount of water interferes with the discharge of exhaust gas, which cannot meet the requirements of environmental protection. Therefore, hydrophobic molecular sieve adsorbent (STZ material) is the best way to solve the problem of VOC emission. At present, the STZ materials used in China are basically imported from Japan, Germany and the United States, and the imported materials account for more than 95% of the domestic market. At present, this technology is in a blank state in China, and there is no STZ material which can be directly used for VOC adsorption in China. According to the forecast of the environmental protection department, the annual market sales of VOC processing in China are over RMB 150 billion yuan. The core technology is reliable adsorption material, the cost of adsorption material accounts for more than 40% of VOC treatment technology. Therefore, the domestic market sales volume of adsorbent materials reaches more than RMB 60 billion yuan each year, and the annual demand for STZ materials is more than 500,000 tons only in terms of VOC waste gas treatment. The STZ adsorbent to be industrialized in this project has better performance than the imported product, and the price is only 60% of the price of the imported product. Therefore, the market potential of STZ materials involved in this project is huge.
