1. The function is positioned accurately. Hantong Mountain Pastoral Complex is rich in agricultural and tourism resources. It has the foundation and prospect of integrated development of circular agriculture, creative agriculture and farming experience. According to the development path of farmland idylization, industrial integration and urban-rural integration, taking natural villages and characteristic areas as development units, the whole region will be developed overally. 2. The basic conditions are superior. The agricultural infrastructure in the region is relatively complete ; the rural characteristic advantageous industry has a good foundation and the agricultural products are abundant. The location conditions are also superior and the core areas are concentrated and contiguous, with great development potential. The transportation is convenient and the geographical position is superior. It is located at the junction of Qingdao, Yantai and Weifang. It is opposite to Tianjin, Qinhuangdao, Dalian, South Korea and Japan. Shipping, railway and highway transportation are accessible. It only takes about 1 hour from here to Qingdao and Yantai Airport, about 10 minutes to Laizhou Station of Rongwu Expressway and about 15 minutes to Laizhou High Speed Railway Station which is scheduled to open to traffic in 2020 3.The environment is eco-friendly. Adhering to the concept of green development, retaining the green mountains and green waters, there are six Taoist caves developed in the Yuan Dynasty in the Shenxian Mountain,which is a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit; because of the wonderful mountain forests and the annual Maple Leaf Festival, Shenxian Cave Temple attract many tourists lingering on without any thought of leaving; with Buddhist temple - Zisheng Temple at the foot of the mountain the fragrant fire forms the unique landscape of Buddhist and Taoist mountain; Longxiyuan site has beautiful scenery of lake and mountain.
The project occupies an area of about 30,000 mu and adopts the principle of combining resource protection with development and utilization. It is supported by organic agriculture and takes integrated development as the starting point and relies on historical and cultural monuments and excellent natural conditions like million acres of maple forest in Hantong Mountain, Yunfeng Mountain’s Cliff Stone Carving, Immortal Cave Grotto Statue, Longxiyuan Ruins, Linyihe Reservoir, etc, so as to promote the deep integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries and form a rural industrial gathering area, to make Hantong mountainous rural complex burst out and energetic. The project focuses on pastoral resources and agricultural characteristics, and utilizes “tourism+” to create a new platform for the development of the agriculture-related industrial system in Hantong Mountain. This project aims to promote the deep integration of the agricultural industry with tourism, education, culture and health care by organizing folk cultural festivals such as Shenxiandong Temple Fair and Hantong Mountain Maple Leaf Culture Festival, increasing the deep processing and promotion of special agricultural products such as black grape, apple, millet, chestnut and organic vegetables, developing a healthy tourism market with the theme of “Often come to Laizhou, health and longevity” such as farmhouse tourism, health tourism, self-driving tour, etc.
The total investment of the project is expected to be 3 billion yuan. Based on the work ideas of strengthening the production, grasping the second production and developing the three productions, and adhering to the principle of agriculture orientation, common development, market leading, and gradual progress, the project creates a new mode of integration development of organic agriculture, tourism industry and processing of agricultural products. The new model of development focuses on science and technology, innovation, green, ecology, and shared development. On the basis of making full use of existing historical culture and agricultural ecological resources, it will integrate health and wellness, ecological agriculture, folk culture, tourism, rural leisure, and agricultural products into one complex to promote the implementation of integrated operations,which is expected to achieve an annual sale income of 500 million yuan.
